I think part of the reason is I might have set expectations too high, and again I also wanted perfect results immediately. I do like that it’s easier than ever to make our own apps now, I should probably start small first

But the most important thing (almost drove me insane) - I finally fixed the issue where my variable font’s text rendered thinner on Chrome compared to Safari because Chrome struggles with the OTF/CFF2 version’s outlines. I switched to TTF and voila. TIL.
Didn’t expect to write this, but I’m glad I captured it while it was happening. Closing out 2025 with the most present-tense post I’ve written.

I’m happy with my iPhone 15 Pro, but for the first time since iPhone 11 a non-Pro iPhone seems really tempting to me: new selfie camera sensor and seemingly better image quality (less artificial processing), cheaper, lighter, brighter, better battery, 120Hz, I don’t need RAW photos…
