during one of his sets, me and crookers and tommie sunshine danced onstage behind him the whole time, collectively losing our shit. all while he mangled the crowd, crushing an entire bottle of vodka by himself and then tossing all of his cd's into the crowd. epic times.

in 2008 i dj'd australia's Stereosonic music festival and toured w DJ Funk. it was my first time meeting him and we instantly connected. he grabbed me and said "youre rockin w me now!" and took me everywhere w him onstage, airplane flights, hotels...it was a vodka infused whirlwind party rampage. 🤍

one time i djed in old san juan puerto rico w roy ayers, little louie vega, and bobbito for this amazing outdoor party. it's hard to explain how amazing and life affirming this moment was for me. roy ayers' music will forever be in my life.
