Such an honor for our group to be collaborating with CBOTH on a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) project on Field Deployable Whole Blood Equivalent. @darpa.bsky.social

CBOTH is led by Dr. Allan Doctor and it is the leading center in the world when it comes to red blood cell research, oxygen transport, and synthetic blood.

A productive visit to University of Maryland School of Medicine Center for Blood Oxygen Transport & Hemostasis (CBOTH) and KaloCyte, Inc. in Baltimore, MD.

Wonderful visit to Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering hosted by Dr. Nicholas Durr. I had a great time visiting Dr. SJ. Claire Hur and Dr. Jeff Tza-Huei Wang and others. Science, engineering, and translation are strong here.
