Merge orcs and humans, save people from isolation, and think "damn whens the update to it coming so I can make my orc even Bigger" (it will come eventually)
Them being free & added to itch would have been abrupt and sudden, spur of the moment things if not for just general conduct stuff w steam btw. So it'll be a week or so of wait.
In the future as I continue to make games, I will consider something like Patreon, but only if I feel I can be consistent.
This isn't meant to be any sort of tirade or woe is me of course. Just a frank presentation of the reasoning behind my decision: If I aint gettin money from it I at least hope to bring joy to as many people's lives as possible instead.
I want my games to be very accessible to people, and to be games people play and enjoy. And to be fully frank and break the "dont play your hand too much" social contract, the steam releases of my game have not sold very much. So if I'm not making money off them, they might as well be free.
I'll be making Caveman Caravan and Digital Defender O.R.C. available for free on Steam (and also likely upload them to itch shortly after) in around a week or so.

funniest day 1 bug was spikes exploding repeatedly because they ran themselves out of HP because of an oversight
least funny day 1 bug was an unavoidable crash during normal gameplay
