Holy that's a lot of games.

The line between promoting archetypes and creating on-rails draft experiences.

I like 6 and 10 most, but there's a Kird Ape on the screen so that'd be who I root for.

5 People for #MTGCube last night.
Did a 5-person Housman Draft of the Padham - which worked, if a tad slow.

5 days ago 13 0 0 0

Bet they each have their own draft style too.

Yeah, figured. I'm going to guess you didn't have timestamps on some of the hierarchy originally and had to guess based on the timestamp of the first match result reported or something silly.

Character count limits are tough, sorry it's all so abbreviated.

Missing mentioning trophy count on the Standings page for each event too.

Also I assume these are just data quality issues, but...

- Out of order flights on matches/history/Elo pages (alpha sorted?).
- Incomplete flights; missing flights (mostly top 8s), I assume were just unreported.
- Should Elo be counting the "extra" drafts at events? Ones not relevant to standings?

Not bugs, but I've got feedback/suggestions?
Here are some "would be nice" things.

(Archived) Event Page
- My Matches: Show Cube Name + Hyperlink to Flight.
- Flights: View matches + photos.
- Standings: Default load Overview.

Match History
- A summary W/L/D.
- Flight name.

Elo
- Trophy count.

Sorry, I like reporting bugs D:

- Rotating a deck image on cube-results does not readjust the overflow region so they wind up clipping.

A discord group ran an 8-person #MTGCube draft on The Ham Sandwich yesterday (without me :o). Winning deck was GR Big Stuff.

Neat to see Goreclaw being used for cost reduction, haven't had that come up in the last couple drafts.

Pretty sweet being able to see all the old events in one place.

Bug: Clicking "go to last page" on the elo leaderboard causes an infinite loop loading pages.

Yep, probably more so in wotc limited usually since you expect them even less.

I still think it's possible to maneuver a game to where a wrath can be imbalanced, but it's probably not something you can rely on as much as you used to do. Even double 2-drop is a great recovery now usually.

The ability of some of these lower curve decks to beat a 6-mana wrath has improved dramatically over recent years. It's probably partially a factor of token generation and ways to get card advantage that don't involve just drawing cards.

I don't really disagree, it might be time for me to look at cutting them too. I want those kinds of decks to exist, but I think my suite of incentives has been shrinking.

Pretty big overhaul.
Bit surprised to see both 6-mana wraths cut, I guess they haven't been seeing play in your cube?

Also RIP Steve.

I _think_ my peasant list is high power enough to handle it, but it certainly is a powerful effect. I pack one pick one'd it though, so it's probably in the upper half of the power band.

7 last night for Peasant #MTGCube.

Threw Library of Alexandria in for the night after some people were curious about it. Some Turtles cards also made an appearance.

I drafted BW Tokens and went 4-0.

With a proper coat on it's kind of fun to walk around during a blizzard. Would recommend.

Forgot to post this from last Tuesday's #MTGCube night. Had 6 for the Kuleshov.

I went 2-1 with GB self mill. Realized match one that the deck was horrid at actually getting delirium, so probably needed some tweaks. Moved meltstrider's main.

Oh wait, I lied. The number I posted is _excluding_ lands, so Alpha is doing it the hard way - not even getting credit for its duals.

9 Cubes have Lightning Bolt, but there are 12 total copies thanks to Museum of Modern.

BOP, Counterspell, STP, Demonic Tutor, etc - It adds up pretty quickly.

Avishkube is basically a block format, lol. It creates some pretty funny outliers when you plot it against the rest of the event.

2 weeks ago 1 1 0 0

Little biased due to having some artifact or block heavy cubes in the lineup.
- Eiganjo Drift
- Avishkube
- The Ball Pit
- The Devoid Cube

Avishkube for example contributes 155 cards from Kaladesh, 101 from Aether Revolt.

Alpha gets the Basic Lands from each desert, so it's a little misleading.

There might be some way to guesstimate how many words you read in a given draft, but Deserts + duplicates kind of muddy that.

2 weeks ago 1 0 0 0

I've got it set to strip reminder text and only look at unique cards in a cube; so you only get 1 Ornithopter and Fire Swamp only gets 1 Forest, 1 Mountain.

Using that method FS is 18.54, Thopts is 23.08.

If I count every copy FS is 17.46, Thopts is 17.01.

Ball Pit is #2 both ways: 18.97/17.20.
