I sometimes forget about The Burn when talking about games I've designed. But it's something I'm really proud of. And it comes with amazing, model-based art from @handiworkgames.bsky.social, photographed in the actual location from my childhood.

I've done an AP but I'm also not that into APs anymore.
I can still sometimes find some I enjoy but I feel like many just don't grab me.
Our car just failed its MOT and I need to find £200 for new tires ASAP😭 If anyone has / knows of any editing or SR work going or would like to pick up one of my games or sub to my kofi now would be a wonderful time! 🙏💖

It's criminal that the Rohingya genocide has been all but forgotten by the world while this is still happening
I got 00's indie kid which I guess is both true and untrue.
The quiz is funny though!
I'm definitely not an expert but when I see your work on my timeline, I recognise who it's by before I look at the name of who posted it - which to me means that yes, absolutely.
Hi lovelies! I have editing and sensitivity reading slots open again! I do special deals for small/indie creators and can always work within your budget. DMs are open / email is in my bio 🥰
Hey, this is real damn sweet of you.
The Road is the Enemy is a TTRPG about story telling, mythology, and hostility of the natural world. At its center is a "talking stick" mechanic to evoke fireside storytelling vibes where all parties can be the GM.

It is very appalling and sometimes quite frightening to see how trans-exclusionary feminists have allied with rightwing attacks on gender. The anti-gender ideology movement is not opposing a specific account of gender, but seeking to eradicate "gender" as a concept or discourse, a field of study, an approach to social power. Sometimes they claim that "sex" alone has scientific standing, but other times they appeal to divine mandates for masculine domination and difference. They don't seem to mind contradicting themselves. The Terfs (trans exclusionary radical feminists) and the so-called gender critical writers have also rejected the important work in feminist philosophy of science showing how culture and nature interact (such as Karen Barad, Donna Haraway, EM Hammonds or Anne Fausto-Sterling) in favor of a regressive and spurious form of biological essentialism. So they will not be part of the coalition that seeks to fight the anti-gender movement. The anti-gender ideology is one of the dominant strains of fascism in our times. So the Terfs will not be part of the contemporary struggle against fascism, one that requires a coalition guided by struggles against racism, nationalism, xenophobia and carceral violence, one that is mindful of the high rates of femicide throughout the world, which include high rates of attacks on trans and genderqueer people. The anti-gender movement circulates a spectre of "gender" as a force of destruction, but they never actually read any works in gender studies. Quick and fearful conclusions take the place of considered judgments. Yes, some work on gender is difficult and not everyone can read it, so we have to do better in reaching a broader public. As important as it is, however, to make complex concepts available to a popular audience, it is equally important to encourage intellectual inquiry as part of public life. Unfortunately, we are living in anti-intellectual times, and neo-fascism is becoming more normalized.

Mum Chums is quasi-autobiographical and reflects being a mum beyond just the gameplay. People look at the cover and think it is a cozy game, when it is raw and vital. They overlook it, say they are glad it exists, but often stop there. If I had to suggest only one of my games to play, this is it.
EUphoria's signature navy blue background with yellow d4 stars and sparkles. EUphoria Con's logo in the top centre, a round yellow frame with navy blue background, and a large shooting star made up of yellow d4s streaking from right to left, a light blue tail trailing behind, a light blue broken circle orbiting the star, and two yellow d8s floating on that orbit. Header text, in a white blocky font with pale blue outline, reads 'Taking INspiratrion From Folklore'. Subheader, same font bordered in yellow, reads 'Making TTRPGs inspired by our own cultures' Penny's headshot, and the final text 'Saturday 2nd May, 7pm BST/8pm CEST. www.twitch.tv/EUphoriaAP'. To the right of this text, text reads 'supported by' next to a Moonshine Adventure Company logo, a sandy yellow moon draped in a purple banner bearing the words 'The Moonshine Adventure Co.' and surrounded by small stars.
Another EUphoriaCon panel announcement! The inimitable @pennyblake.bsky.social delivers a talk on adapting folklore from our own cultures into TTRPGs.

Oh, this looks so good!
I don't know who needs to hear this, but there's no amount of capability that justifies being an awful human. The bar for being a decent human is already pretty low. If you can't clear that, I don't care how capable you are. I can certainly find someone *nearly* as capable who isn't a shitbag.
Thank you!
