When I was a young lad, I remember watching #ArtAttack & didn't quite grasp the concept of "speed draws" where the footage was sped up.

As a result, I remember trying to draw/colour/shade really fast ...& it not always turning out so great 😅

No-one tells you how emotionally draining writing can be.

Especially with some of the heavier, darker topics.

Sometimes you have to take your mind places you don't want to go.

In the end, so long as you're respectful, it can turn into something worth writing, but more importantly, worth reading.

Support small business, especially when prices match or beat the big guys.

As owners, we sometimes sell at cost just to stay in the game, while giants do it to crush competition. Our goal isn't domination, it's survival.
