That is what I am trying to find out. Trafic warden didn't seem to think so.

I also believe it is illegal to leave anything over 7.5 tons unattended, whilst parked on the footway.

A goods vehicle parked on the footway along side the controlled zone leading away from a zebra crossing

A goods vehicle parked on the footway along side the controlled zone leading away from a zebra crossing

What is the legality of this parking?

7.5 ton goods vehicle, left unattended. There is dropped curb in the control zone proceeding away from zebra crossing, presumably for vehicular access across the footway into the park behind.

How to say you are motonormative* without saying your are motonormative.

A significant proprotion of people don't drive. A significant number of households don't have a car. Leave the bridge closed to motorised vehicles and stop prioritising a mode of transport that pollutes and kills.

Memo to messrs Offord and Findlay. Of the 790k people in Scotland who are currently economically inactive:

122k are retired
185k are students
124k are looking after family
267k are long-term sick

The idea that '800k inactive people' are choosing not to work to live a life on benefits is ludicrous

Inconvenience? I just had to dig seven pages deep to find the unsubscribe for one of the four TV subscriptions I need, I'm measured & optimized against in my supermarket, lamps, music, games, and travel. Every service I love gets enshittified to buy billionaires yachts worth 100 times my house.

I much prefer physical media, but this is one great thing about streaming.

I did try and get this going with Raspberry Pis and HiFiBerry hats but it works much better with three WiiM Minis and a WiiM amp pro.

Just don't rely on the Mini's inbuilt DAC if you care abouy sound quality.

Been doing some domestic engineering (housework). Neighbour is out, so for a little motivation, turned on every 'HiFi' in the house and had them all streaming simultaneously.

It worked!

And yet mouth breathers say that people cycling need id plates so they can be identified.
It works so well with drivers doesn't it?

Physical media means more consciously choosing what to watch, listen to or read and that I think means more involvement and enjoyment.

When folk post screen shots or paste answers from AI services in response to a take, they are self-owning the surrender of their cognition.

They are literally outsourcing their thinking.

Also, a cycle helmet is not going to offer much protection in a collision with a motor vehicle.

Please post your AI generated bullshit elsewhere.

If more people jogged, then jogging helmets should be adorned?

Do the ER clinicians establish the type of cycling? Do they distinguish between time trialists, training competitors, down hill mountain bikers and regular folks trundling to the shops on their sit upand beg town bikes?

The average commuting cyclists is as likely to suffer a head injury as a person jogging.

Recently a man died having hit his head on a low bridge. He was knocked unconscious and fell into a canal.

Sad and tragic. But no one asked why he wasn't wearing a helmet.

Oh but he is so much more electable than Jeremy Corbyn.

Starmer was nothing but a safe pair of hands for maintaining the status quo and a stooge for divorcing Labour from socialism.

Dynamic pricing can get in the bin.

So can data snooping loyalty card discounts.

UK Gov needs to step in and stop the fleecing of people. And whilst they are there, reverse privatisation.

In a parallel universe the cyclist rang his bell and the couple moaned about something else the cyclist did or didn't do.

It is our rotten media isn't it? Convincing everyone that riding a bicycle automatically puts you at fault.

The cyclist had done nothing wrong. No one was endangered. No one was inconvenienced. So why the rant? 3/

I thanked the couple before leaving. The woman launches into a rant about cyclists not using bells.

I retorted bells are generally so high pitched, a lot of people can't hear them and we walked on. 2/
