Awesome, thank you! Will make sure to visit the next event ^.^

Oh, just to be clear, I followed furry creators there. So that was just a note about the creator themself :) Haven't got on my radar on that time
Oh, I wasn't aware of this event. Interesting :)
It seems Marz shop has opened about 1.5 years before I mostly stopped logging in, so no wonder I haven't heard of it too - they probably haven't got traction yet.
I used Kinzart and PsyCorp sergal avatars. And ONA Skadi weren't exactly my cup of tea.
I miss SL, miss chilling with friends and partners... Everyone simply moved on, so I stopped logging in too :(
Believe, love, down ...huh :)
Haha, yeah :)
Btw, fun fact on the topic: Icon for that addon was made in Affinity Designer, with the source file on the repo gitlab.com/airships/fa-... (that .afdesign file)
So yeah, it's a huge loss that they were sold :(
Wow, thanks! Finally someone used it :D But I guess if I never hear from users - that's a good sign, that means it works well ^.^
Affinity suite is no longer sold. Instead, they've been bought by ai company Canva and now free of charge. You can try but, of course, there's nothing free in this world... However they sweared that it is truly free, and they don't steal your stuff. Dunno.
I'll keep using Affinity 2 while it works.

I will never understand why would someone do this.
The "oh I paid to be here so I can do whatever I want - they have janitors for that" is a Karen mentality.
You're an effin GUEST! And you're expected to have common sense and behave!
...
One time I've seen knives being out with nonfurry guests -_-
Oh so now copyright matters.

Here's a related anecdote about one EA indie title I'm following:
It's made on electron with asar vfs. Likely due to misconfig, their builds have unique filenames and dist never gets cleaned up. Over a half of the whole game size is just all prev builds of their game :) It's been months...
Moral of the story: Chunk your freaking VFS.
I'm tired to see this over and over. Tired of deleting other games just to apply few-mb patch on your 50gb pak, like as if devs do not care about user experience at all. And many of them cannot afford to have a bigger drive, yet they saved for your game.
When their shiny early access game receive a constant updates, Steam has to download the patch payload and apply it on your huge file in a temp dir (making a patched copy), then replace old one with new one on success.
So ALL users are expected to have gamesize+patchsize free space at all times.
VFS is made to solve the loading time. For a single VFS file access your OS does a single FS and AV call, thus increasing the assets loading time by a huge margin.
Indies appear to think that if VFS offer encryption then they use it for that purpose only. And "we have a single huge file, sooo cool!"
Pros of FS: Steam is most happy to patch the changed files on updates, without requiring lots of space. And the patch process is quickest.
Cons of FS: The more files = the more time to load them, mostly because of AV, but partially because that's how most FS work.
In indie gamedev, studios can be split into three categories:
- Those who know about FS and VFS effects
- Those who don't know/don't care and use FS
- Those who don't and just slap everything in a single VFS file for fun and a sense of security.
And the latter are genuinely annoy me... (rant thread)

Yeah. It actually did sparked my ever-lasting obsession with web galleries and visual processing projects back in a days :)
Good times...
Woohoo, finally! \o/
Working with vite+rolldown was a great experience that even with beta quirks it felt so much better that no one really wanted to go back to stable, haha 😅
He was my childhood crush in 90s! Especially after a spin-off comic books about him. And I never thought I'd actually see a nice art with him :3
Well... 60 years is a good run, but Star Trek will soon be dead.
vite is so fast, time paradoxes were bound to happen
free open source software needs fewer engineers and more designers and product people
A cartoon drawing of various canines and a feline next to handwritten text. The first is a surly-looking wolf in a bathrobe gazing at the viewer while holding a coffee cup; text reads "Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee." The next shows two wolves happily drinking coffee together, with text reading "Only talk to me whilst drinking coffee." The next shows a wolf vibrating with emanata resembling scintillating scotoma around him; another gazes at him with concern. Text reads "Solely talk to me after I've consumed coffee." Lastly, a positively radiant cat looks at the viewer from a box with a nuclear trefoil on the front of it. Text reads "talk to me not knowing whether or not I've had my coffee."
After years of playing, only in 2025 I discovered how amazing warframe fanart community is, and so I joined right away :)
Excited to maybe become a part of this artbook as well ^.^
Here's the new #StarTrek 60th anniversary bumper video that will play before every new episode of the franchise in 2026, beginning with today's #StarfleetAcademy series debut
First time a wild wolf has ever been seen using a tool! She pulls a crab trap out of the water using a rope, and steals the bait inside, in a video from the Canadian west coast~
