It's a real shame there's no rule forcing big networks to have to provide an API for contact info. Just think about the startup you could build with your favorite LLM if you didn't have to worry about finding an audience. All your audince are belong to FB. Free it for the next round of innovation.
I've used @yoast.com for well over a decade, and it continues to play a critical role in how I technically optimize my sites for search engines. While I don't use or need all of its features, it still provides the ones I need most.

this was significantly more interesting right after Panda site quality demotions, I knew folks who really took advantage of that. for sure what I would think about as greyhat. hard to sell this strategy typically to clients, more for personal businesses and M&A valuations/after-the-fact

thought about this last night a bit more, it would be pretty cool to see yahoo go full google circa 2012 with the extra data from chrome and recreate a SE exp that helps you find exactly what you are looking for on net, bring back page rank etc and go after new partnerships post GOOG litigation

Chrome has to be worth a lot more than $50B since Chrome data is used in Google search relevance ranking. With data on every website, dwell, scroll, hover, and click, you know what everyone in the world finds useful and interesting. Owning Chrome would let someone build a better Google.
