Great to see this green woodpecker in the garden over the past few days!

Enjoyed Dowles Brook, Wyre Forest at the weekend (apart from the mozzie bites)!

Had a walk along the Severn at Bevere today with @tommyjas8.bsky.social, lots about, Mandarin ducks, two pairs of pied and grey wagtail, chiffchaffs singing, five buzzards in a gang and a female sparrowhawk getting harassed by a flock of little birds. Also Brimstone, Comma and Peacock butterflies.

Gotta love a Goldcrest!

Went to see the Rapturous Delight sensory experience at Croome Court today, also saw this Great White Egret (I think), which isn't that common in the UK. @tommyjas8.bsky.social

Nice walk yesterday with @tommyjas8.bsky.social ; Jacob’s Ladder/Egg Lane then along Droitwich canal to Porter’s Mill and back up Dilmore Lane. Highlights were a pair of goldcrest, a male bullfinch, kestrel and a close encounter with the ubiquitous buzzard!

I've only just seen this, I miss him so much too! 💔
