Reason 216 why I’ll never be thin:

My breakfast at 11: Bourbon creams duncked in tea.

My 11 year olds request: granola, yoghurt, frozen fruit and a sprinkle of bee pollen.

I see this every day on the school run. At E’s school there’s this gorgeous Ukrainian family and they genuinely seem to like their kids. They smile and chat to them, unlike the brits who barely look up from their phone.

Looking up at some spring flowers in the garden in the sunshine. Some daffodils, and some blue/ mauve flowers that look like poppies/anemones. Set against some pale leaves on the trees behind them, together with some pale blue sky and fluffy clouds behind those.

I’ve been really strict with family on this. My kids eat what they want to eat and leave what they don’t. They also don’t have to eat what I’m cooking, they get some degree of choice. Food should be enjoyed.

Oh I completely understand that all I am to him currently is a feeder/lift giver/bank. I’m confident he’ll come back to me one day lol

Me neither. But he also loves oasis, so I pick my battles and allow Radiohead in the car.

They bypassed me entirely but my 17 y/o loves them. Went to see them live last year and declared it to be the best night of his life. Which, as his mother who has organised many many fun times for him, felt great 🤣

I like beans on toast and that is the only place for them imo

The amount of times I look frantically for my phone while it’s in my hand 🙄

In about a years time when the youngest has had another growth spurt, I’ll be the shortest person in my household. I’m not tiny, 5’6, but my kids are giants.
