This is my message to just give it a try if, like me, you think you're only allowed to do things when you're already good at them

I'm a fatass who never did anything athletic and a big part of it was imposter syndrome which i've now been miraculously cured of in my 30s.

It also turns out muscle training is a supremely lazy activity because the process itself takes 30 minutes at most and proper rest is the most important part.

I started lifting weights for general fitness and maybe cos cats deserve to be a lil swole, as a treat 😻

And i'm weirdly baffled at how... easy? Simple? It all is? Muscle fitness always seemed like a distant complicated goal but it really is just sitting there and lifting things 3× a week
