Natalie Barr was just as disgraceful, insisting that Australians on the NDIS are “milking it”
We have a gas inquiry on, Barr conveniently ignoring the actual milking by the gas giants. Not a word on the billions we lose each year in resource revenue.

NEW REPUBLIC: “Where Did Millions in Funding Go?”
$63 MILLION companies paid in *settlements* to Trump appears to have vanished (into his pocket) and @SenWarren wants answers.

I think it would be quicker to get the trucking industry to go electric than to "drill baby drill", as the Liberal Party has been saying, to look for more oil reserves.
The sleek looking Windrose electric truck.
It's urgent Australia converts its transportation fleet to electric.
For food security & national security.
Trump & Netanyahu will escalate the Iran war. The oil crisis will get much worse.
Cutting fossil fuel excise tax causes a short-term sugar hit, but long-term makes us less secure.

make sure you choose a password that contains capital letters, numbers, and special symbols so that someday the data broker who purchases your info can go "ooh good password" after your login details are inevitably leaked in a data breach you can do nothing to prevent
Tasmania's greyhound racing.
It can't support itself. It requires government handouts.
What for?
• Animal cruelty
• Gambling addition
Money that would otherwise have gone to hospitals & schools.

Good, but govt whines this will cost extra: ignores the bleedingly obvious fact that helping people w showering & continence reduces infections & illnesses that would cost far more long term in medical & hospital care! Deliberate spin or stupidly short-sighted & can't do math? #Auspol #AgedCare 🤨
Truth is a valuable commodity. A rarity it seems
Shell Oil has made it clear today it does not like @australiainstitute.org.au.
Am feeling very good about my life choices today

Charts showing Shell's Queensland operations earned $32.292bn 2014-15 to 2022-23 and paid $0 company tax
Shell Oil now up. Telling us they are "nation building"
Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.

Bloody Minns. Incredibly disappointing
Single frame. Title “Against the Law…” NSW Premier Chris Minns marching in front of the bench in court holding sign saying “SOCIAL COHESION RULES OK” and chanting “WHADDOIWANT? TO OUTLAW PROTEST! WHENNOIWANNIT? NOW!” Court scribe watches on and judge says, “Move on.”
Protest.
My @smh cartoon.
VA Redistricting. Republicans will be destroyed in the midterms. Trump era must end before we are destroyed.
Was talking to an old friend about how Albanese copes with negative media, social media, performative politicians, obstructionists, populists, disingenuous MPs, racists and dealing with Trump .
Her answer was simple . He focusses on the work to be done . And Labor has got a lot of work done .
That in itself should be plastered all over billboards across the nation.
Beggars belief that that the minerals industry thinks people are this stupid.
Yaaaaaaaaas!
Steve Kornacki and NBC News have finally called the congressional redistricting referendum election results in Virginia.
It was approved!
Democrats win!
Folks voted yes!
If rakes floated on water, #Trump would step on one. Guaranteed.
He's the Sideshow Bob of the swimming pool ...
⚠️ During the Iran War, the US military has used:
• At least 45% of its Precision Strike Missiles
• At least half of its THAAD missiles
• Almost 50% of its Patriot air defense interceptor missiles
This has created “near-term risk” of running out of ammunition in future conflict.
Let me spell that out: R U T H L E S S

We expect some positive decisions tomorrow on the €90 billion loan to Ukraine.
This would show that our support for Ukraine remains strong and that Russia cannot outlast Ukraine.
My doorstep ahead of today’s Foreign Affairs Council ↓
Here in the UK, the appeasement of the extremists and populists has allowed people to get away with conduct that I thought we'd stamped out in the late 1990s.
The current popular disguise for their blatant racism is "legitimate concerns". No, you don't have legitimate concerns, you're a racist...
Not a word of this is true
They certainly are not all of us. What I KNOW is we are all migrants apart from First Nations people. Some of us forced, some of us asked and some came of their own accord. Everything is better having lots of different cultures in the one place. I live in a very diverse area and could not be happier
