For sure! Can we take it to email? We should pull Franco and Gabriele in, I don't think they have accounts. I'll start a chain.

Meet Sarah Heilbronner, a neuroanatomist building wiring diagrams to understand the structure of pathways in the brain. 🧠#AskaNeuroscientist @srheilbronner.bsky.social
It’s been amazing to see so many of us get more involved in scicomm. I was just exchanging notes with @srheilbronner.bsky.social at SFN, hearing about what has led to the tremendous success of the Science Homecoming effort.

My piece on brainfacts.org about human brain connectivity! www.brainfacts.org/in-the-lab/t...
Sunday was a great day for the members of the @brainfacts.org team at #SFN25!
By day we met to discuss ways to combat disinformation; by night we held a public event.
brainfacts.org specializes in *reliable* info about the brain. Please spread the word about this wonderful resource!
When I moved to BCM, an extremely talented movement disorders neurologist, Nora Vanegas Arroyave, reached out to discuss brain circuits responsible for non-motor deficits in Parkinson's Disease. I have learned so much from her and from this collaboration. One paper out, more to come!
Suzanne Haber was just elected to the National Academy of Medicine! Her work on the organization of the cortex and basal ganglia has had a huge impact. Please take the opportunity to congratulate her the next time you see her. www.urmc.rochester.edu/news/story/u...
For his hometown in Montana, Nick Weber, PhD reminds his hometown that science once cured “black measles” and Rocky Mountain spotted fever—proof that investment in research saves lives, then and now. 🧪🏠
Science funding is essential for Michigan cancer biologists Seema Shah and Kingsley Osuala as they carry forward America’s strong legacy in cancer research. As Mary Lasker said: “If research is expensive, try disease.” 🧪🏠

“Why do we know so much about the brain, but still do not have a map of how everything connects?” Sarah Heilbronner explains it isn’t a lack of interest, but a lack of technology. @srheilbronner.bsky.social vist.ly/3ydy6
New profile! Dr. Sarah Heilbronner (@srheilbronner.bsky.social) uses cutting-edge neuroanatomical and neuroimaging techniques to decipher the wiring diagram of the primate brain. Follow the link below to learn more!

Two Sonoma County 🍇 scientists studying fungi and the ocean warn: 90% of people rely on science—weather, food safety, jobs—but only 10% are worried about funding cuts. That gap threatens the future. 🧪🏠

As part of @sciencehomecoming.bsky.social ng.bsky.social, I wrote an op-ed in my local paper about how cuts to federal funding put the present and future health of our communities at enormous risk.

Thanks to @sciencehomecoming.bsky.social initiative for inspiring me to write this op-ed for my hometown paper, where I reflect on how federal funding shaped my path in science—and what’s at stake if we don’t protect those opportunities for the next generation.
“Investments in science and public health are essential for the future of rural southern states like Mississippi.”

‘NIH programs like PREP provided my first introduction to research,’ Steven Mesquiti, a San Antonio, Texas native writes, “Without these programs, countless students—regardless of race, gender, or political affiliation—will lose their chance to break into fields that shape our nation’s future.” 🧪🏠
Dr. Vaughn Smider, president of the Applied Biomedical Science Institute, from Ohio 🦌, reflects on how his mother’s “gold shots” for arthritis sparked his curiosity about medicine. After losing his wife to cancer, finding true cures is personal. He wrote about the many dangers of cutting science. 🧪🏠
Prof. Lauren Haack writes to her Wisconsin hometown 🧀 that science funding ‘matters for every student with a passion for science, every family with a loved one in a medical trial, and every young professional entering health care.’ 🧪🏠
