And the big data ai centers with the new chips are only starting to go online. By 27 the % of electricity used on data centers is going to be crazy.

Maybe someone realized that Avis at the Columbus airport never has cars midweek in the morning even for those people who had them reserved and realized the massive profit potential of having cars that people reserved ready in Columbus and not having them wait in line an hour.

IEA - Solar PV, the largest single source of growth, met more than 25% of higher demand, followed by natural gas, which contributed 17%. This was the first time on record that a modern renewable source contributed the largest share of global energy demand growth. - So good but no reduction in others

And pretty much all growth in the economy. The spend on them and their associated infrastructure is insane.

@chocotaco.bsky.social The forecast projects approximately 278,003 megawatts (MW) of total demand in the ERCOT Region by 2029 and 367,790 MW by 2032. For comparison, the ERCOT Region's current all-time peak demand is 85,508 MW. This doesn't work. interchange.puc.texas.gov/Documents/58...

Maybe the Giants head coach just wants this guy to get the chance to hit Lamar twice a season.

This organization with one of the league's best running backs should have run the ball when on the goalline in Super Bowl XLIX.

Plus this is dated - the robinhood app in particular had people with no business in it trading stock, options and crypto.

Take some 1/2 days when the kids are in school. Like 1 a month to do what you need to do to relax whatever that is.

I designed a bunch at a military base in AZ back in 2010. It should be a requirement for all sunshade installations as a minimum.

The Atlantic had her on ice (and was probably gonna keep her there) and her contract was up in ~3 months so this might be the best move.

The kids went to culinary daycamp for a week so I am not sure many people try and use it for the credit. I found out I could maybe claim it last night and didn't contact them. I just looked for it online. (thanks)

I didn't do it because it was questionable and they wouldn't efile without it but how risky would be to claim the childcare credit for a summer daycamp when you don't have an ein for the camp.

We did California Disney when the kids were little on the cheap and had a 7 night Fl Disney booked for early June 2020 that we never did because of covid. That was on resort and not cheap.

I think the difference now is social media. No one I knew well enough to ask where they went on vacation went anywhere that much cooler than me. Now we see the pictures from Mexico or Hawaii or Disney that our acquaintances go on.

Vacations I remember - a long trip to LA with grand canyon and other stops along the way, Disney for a day in Florida and the beach, Lake of the Ozarks. I think we did Arkansas also. But we always packed a cooler and breakfast and lunch were from the cooler.

Disney should be excluded because it is crazy expensive. Growing up we went up to Iowa to visit relatives twice a year and went on a traditional vacation every other year. But we drove everywhere. We go on one bigger trip every year now and several long weekends, kids are flying 2-3 times a year.

We have troops everywhere, we only pulled out of Syria because we couldn't protect the camps from drones.

Just submitted my taxes. This is what turbo tax says on penalties. Also they were doing something weird this year with not pulling previous years info for property taxes so we only owed 3k.

They did this at our work for a while but enough people complained that they give us all 40/month for cell phone use and now no one complains or wants second phones but purists.
