This is somewhat misleading. Perhaps not in its overall data, but in certain places - the northeast of the USA for instance - there is 100 percent observer coverage on every dragger and all bycatch is recorded.

Wrote about this way back in my 2020 book Liar’s Circus. Actually Elias Canetti wrote about Trump without probably having ever heard of him in Crowds and Power.
Everybody knew. One of the main characters in my book Liar’s Circus told me he wasn’t coming to DC for the rally because there was going to be trouble. Days before January 6th. This was just a foot soldier.
