please get disco elysium especially because it's free/available to ethically obtain. it's literally one of the most incredible gaming experiences I've ever had, second only to BG3 for personal reasons. also support the fanzine!! proceeds support artists and charity! what's not to love!!

I'm watching the Inside story interviews for Disco Elysium and current day ZAUM is threatening to replace the artists and ect with AI so yea can't wait for that shambling corpse to fall.

Part 2 of our deep dive into zaum is live, featuring layoffs, lost burnerphones, broken boys, Ed Tomaszewski going after Red Info, Tõnis Haavel losing it, union busting, kosmic betrayals and zaum 3.0 -- now with equity -- future class.

Exactly. For better, or often for worse, when we don't have all the information we fill in the blanks with our biases. A lot of us certainly did. It's really unfortunate because it's not like any of you need to explain yourselves. You didn't do anything wrong that would need explaining.

Hopefully, they will facilitate a fresh start with a clearer view of the messy circumstances of what happened.
Hoping you're all in a better place now and you will have the opportunity to create again on your terms.

I admit I might have been guilty of this too to some degree.
The revolution devouring its children so to speak.
I have no clear conclusion either, except that I'm looking forward to the interviews and will definitely rewatch the doc with the added context.

I think the hate the doc was/is getting is from people who see the story of Disco more as a symbol than a real event. A typical case of greed and capitalism stealing and crushing what is good and human. And any distraction from that as something that serves the side of capital by mudding the waters.
