My biggest issue since leaving my job? I don't have a uniform to wear 5 out of 7 days. You mean I need to dress myself every day? That might be the biggest reason I need a girlfriend, someone needs to dress me!
One of my favorite events is tonight at the Main Library in SF, hope to see some of y'all there! nightofideas.org/san-francisco/

I been on muni so much that I tried pulling the yellow cord while I was on BART...
"I do my thing and you do your thing. I am I and you are you. If in the end we end up together, it’s beautiful.”
Modified Great Gatsby quote from Boy Meets World
Boy Meets World rewatch done. Time for Girl Meets World.
I'm in the final season of my Boy Meets World rewatch thinking, "I'm 42 years old waiting to find my Topanga...", sheesh, lol
We lost a special person to cancer this past Wed. She didn't run programs for kids, wasn't at the parent meetings or organized events, but she loved the kids we worked with. Her intentional care, authentic love, and willingness to teach, will be missed so much. Processing.
Project Hail Mary was absolutely amazing from several standpoints. Sound, visuals, story, writing, acting, and so much more. A must watch in theaters.
According to the Cato Institute, The Trump administration is reportedly receiving millions of immigration applications, pocketing the hefty fees, and never processing the applications.
It’s collected over $1 billion in fees so far.
Where is the outcry over this fraud and abuse?
Hello Berkeley.

...This transition time has been so weird. I'm hoping to be back at work on May 4th to start my new normal. I think I'll still miss everyone even when I do.
It's been two weeks since my last day at Boys & Girls Clubs. I miss the kids, the families, the staff. I miss the routine. I think about them more than I wish to admit...
I'm doing a Boy Meets World rewatch. Season 1, Episode 6, filmed in 1993, Cory repeated the phrase "I'M COOKED, I'M COOKED", proving that phrase is actually really old and is now being recycled by today's kids.
Feels good to be back home...

...(cause most folks will never leave). I found a chill spot by the cafe that was pretty empty for most of the trip. I spent more time there an my own seat.
As much as I enjoyed the train, 35 hours is a lot of time. I probably won't do it again, but very happy I did it at once
Quick morning thoughts before getting the day started in Seattle.
The Coast Starlight train from LA to Seattle was beautiful. It was peaceful on the most part. Met some cool folks. If you're able to score an observation deck seat, hold it for awhile...
"Stephen, he was our co-worker, our friend, a friend of my kids. He was my trainer. First day at my job — this is six years ago — he helped me to take care of Boeddeker Park."
"He was like a brother."

Addiction took his money, his dignity, and eventually, his shoes. "That was the saddest part of the drop," writes TL neighbor River. He reflects on homelessness, desolation, luck — and never being beyond reach.
Greetings from Oregon...
Disney, you have been fun.
Tomorrow morning, I'll be on the Amtrak to Seattle.
Day 4, March 17th, 2026:
Had a blast at Disneyland/California Adventure. Way too many treats and sugary cold brews/coffee. But whatever, I'm on vacation.
I'm not built for 100 degree weather.
Fighting the urge to check in on my former job/staff.
Til tomorrow.
