Who else? Sam Rockwell.

One of my all time favorites (even though I never owned an Amiga).

Would be a fun visualizer for music videos!
Anne Hathaway bought the rights to a novel about a tradwife influencer who wakes up in 1855 and has to actually live the life she's been selling online. The book is called Yesteryear. It came out 3 days ago. The film rights were already sold to Hathaway, who will produce and star.
Holy shit, I have NEVER been more excited for a movie.
I used a Waymo for the first time this year and it was a pleasant enough experience. I can see a good use for it for ladies trying to get somewhere by themselves, no risk of getting raped by the non-existent driver. Which is kinda sad that this is the most prevalent positive I can think of.
Looks great Sam! What are you making this in?
Not every manager pays themselves 1,000 times what they are worth. My wife had to work 60-80 hours a week to make up for my salary cut, while pregnant. If we would need to do it again today, I would need to sell my house - not in a year - tomorrow.
Sometimes downsizing is the only choice you got.
I don't know the people at Iron Galaxy, but we survived an economic downturn by doing just what you are suggesting. Halving the salary of the managers and seniors for a full year to hopefully see it through without firing anyone. It worked, but I still feel some resentment towards your comment. >>
@mdf200.bsky.social why are Lemmings' butts so sexy? π
Thanks Lee, but it still feels wrong to not have games Ys, Legend of Heroes, Command & Conquer, Bioshock, X-Com, Dishonored, InFamous, Anno, Space Quest, Last of Us, Unreal, Portal, Doom, Pacific Drive, FTL, Terraria, Undertale, No Man's Sky, Horizon Zero Dawn etc. etc. anywhere on the list ππ
I saw this a while back and copied it to make my own - fun exercise - but boy, is it hard to make choices. I have trouble calling anything "best" anyway. But hey, I tried...but now I can't find the original post anymore to quote post. Sorry, whoever I stole this from!
I've raised three daughters, and from knowing other dads with daughters (since they made friends), I am sad to report this seems to be a general character deficiency, not learned behavior.
Basically the "sure I'll grab tampons" group vs the "Ew. Ask your mom" group.
I am - also - not a winter person. Even though I lived in Wisconsin for many years with it's 5 month winters with -20 (and up to -40 wind chills) and tons of snow. Very happy I don't have to deal with that anymore π
Maybe your body is incapable of telegraphing the needs of your mind? I'm no expert, but that doesn't sound like a bodily problem π
Senior illustrator, with 20 years of experience and a specialty in game art.
I haven't been able to find a paying project for months. Can you help? Every share is appreciated.
Holy shit.
I've hated NFTs from the moment I understood what they were, but I am honestly not sure I would have had the willpower to say no to that. I've turned down work, but not at that price.
We all like to say our values are not for sale, but few actually live it. Mad respect (you idiot) ππ
Inspired by the mini-docu on Metal Gear I just watched, I added a new entry to my MSX Greatest Classics playlist π

Excellent mini-docu on the franchise that made young me want to be a game developer.

FUCK EM.
You're beautiful and crazy talented and have a good heart. I'm not sure what more I would ask for in a human being I'd enjoy sharing society with.
Having raised / still raising 3 girls, I would be WAY more scared of a pissed off mom than a pissed off dad.
I actually use this is a threat if the principal calls to complain about the youngest..."do I need to send my wife to school?".
Except maybe stars.
I like the Arab stars like Aldebaran and Altair.
I can only speak for my own company, where it's 8-10 years, and in some extraordinary cases faster than that (found a good nugget). That might seem long, but management has been in place 31 years and most seniors have worked with the company for 15-25 years. We don't have a lot of turnover.
Junior: just out of diapers
Mid-level: knows what he/she is doing but not experienced enough to pull a team
Senior: can pull a team and knows everything about everything, leading to great confusion amongst executives. Should get a CEO salary.
That's just my opinion/experience
They call it the PC-98 because it was the successor to the PC-88
Wait, that also doesn't make sense ππ

Scotland might as well have been a former colony, where England (and all other former colonizers) keep fucking shit up on purpose to prevent them from becoming competitive and independent.
