my favourite thing to say about bloodborne is that sony cared more about their failed PS5 VR headset, enough to port it to PC lol

I'm guessing it's since it's using the GPU's 3D acceleration for rendering in these areas now, and I guess it doesn't cope well when the driver updates.
AFAIK, Mac and Linux don't do live display driver updates? Linux maybe if you do it manually (most people realistically won't), Mac definitely not
I used it for Tetris Effect since I really wanted that on PC and didn't wanna wait. I much prefer Steam.
I know some GNU/Linux types are like "we have to stop the Valve monopoly" not knowing WHY Valve has a monopoly, especially on that OS.
Hoping GOG Galaxy adds competition in that space.
in a right newspaper mood atm lol, just wanna cum on a nice broadsheet
Wavewave I sent to Lintu. (Done with copic and touch twin markers.)

these JAV titles are getting weird.
he'll be useful for getting Hungary back into Eurovision at least.
snail adopt!! he's just a chill guy
95$, DM me if interested!
if the BBC ever goes the NF route, we'd have to go the way of UMK and keeping Radio 2 far from the selection as possible (using Radio 1 instead), instead of what the hell they were doing in the 2010s.
Radio 1 is more tuned in with modern music, similar to YleX who iirc handled UMK's selections.
that thinks the BBC*
Hopefully they stick to the experimentation. The UK is in a good position as one of the auto-qualifiers, let's just loosen up, throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.
But I won't lie - there's still a part of me that the BBC will tell the delegation to go safe again.
Alolan Raichu!!
the common thread should be anthropomorphic animal characters/char design, but *even then* there's disagreements on what "anthro" even means lol.
it goes back to what I said earlier tbh: furry fandom/subculture is so massive that you ain't gonna get everyone on the same page, you ain't gonna make it one homogenous group.
I will say there has been some furries who keep things strictly non-porn and are into it for the character design, and I don't mind it!
I've seen porn-loving furries struggle with this and harass them for wanting their own space... p sure I even saw Nazi accusations as well.
I've seen people claim that furry is actually just a subculture rather than a fandom. I dunno where I stand there but I will say that furries do struggle with dealing with the fact the fandom is *so huge* that conformity is basically impossible.
Iโm increasingly convinced that fandom has become a reactionary phenomenon
What was once an anti-corporate, pro-queer transformative experience has turned into a form of identity politics where fandom participants identify w/ their favorite series. Then use this to extract demands out of others
as someone with ADHD (as well as autism), I can relate. It's like my emotional side has the intelligence of a fucking caveman lol.
I hoped the whinging from Lemmy's devs and the privacy extremists didn't deter Mastodon from implementing FASP, seems like it didn't. It's genuinely not a bad idea, given the situation it's in.
(one guy whinged about it in the GitHub issues, does he know how ActivityPub works? It's the same.)
Mastodon is staying true to their path with FASP, and upcoming releases will have support for remote media hosting and content scanning.
IDK if it could be a bodge on top of a bodge, but at least they've tried *something* to address the longstanding problems with the Fediverse.
"try" being the keyword here. She did the pre-show at the Eurovision Village in Liverpool, but I doubt she'd do the actual Eurovision stage.
