ooo it totally does .. the shaders do some heavy lifting here haha. his detail without them is impressive

having a forever world is the best decision i’ve made playing this game for the last 12 years. it’s fun to start over for sure but you can always dump your stuff and move.

it’s so fun to go back to old areas and builds and see how you evolved over time

what good will that do if you need to spend all your emeralds on block insurance?

they should add student loans and taxes to minecraft 2

In a corner of the top floor of my base I made a jungle themed vine & bamboo farm (ignore the overflowing bamboo I ran out of storage!)

This room was a real challenge to squeeze into the space I had and I'm super happy with how it came out

Happy New Year all!

I use a lot of copper for my interiors so I have a bee farm to get me honeycombs and bottles of honey. Got to use glazed terracotta which is rare for my builds but it fits so well with the yellow blocks still need to add storage for it

Made a well today that hides a spider spawner underneath it. One thing I'm not great at is landscaping around my builds. Since I'm on a mushroom island it doesn't have tall grass or flowers so I end up just spamming them around my builds.

Still have a long ways to go with the tree but I'm much happier with the height and shaping of it currently. A little less than halfway done with branches + leaves and then will add a whole lot of detail and highlights.

The nether hub on our survival server! Unfortunately our world spawn is in a basalt delta and this spawns magma cubes everywhere but its a breathtaking build anyway!

a zombified piglin jail cell in my minecraft survival world. the piglin is upside down and suspended over lava

one time I built an entire self designed piglin bartering system in my base and moved 12 piglins over to my nether portal. only when I brought the first one into the overworld did I learn that piglins will freeze and convert to the regular pigmen

8 hours wasted = lifetime punishment

As I gather wood for my giant tree - I realized I hadn't shared my wood farm. This room has a space for every tree type (except mangrove) and is filled with 2 bone meal farms

I've been spending a ton of time here gathering leaves and logs!

You're so right.. I also had to look at pictures of what real trees look like and I learned that leaves don't start immediately from a branch lmao.. This is such a first for me but I've been loving learning how to make something organic looking

This tree is proving to be a quite difficult build - started to play around with the height and some leaves

this has all been freehand - I don't tend to use creative for any of my builds and prefer to experiment in my world.
