Oh my, yes. I crochet in the round a lot, and the number of times I've gotten lost somewhere in the vast numerical wasteland between 1 and 6 really doesn't bear thinking about.

I say!
I have a queer academic fantasy novel inspired by the Ancient Romans launching on Kickstarter in a couple weeks, and I've been over on tumblr explaining some Relevant Fun Trivia, check it out! www.tumblr.com/ariaste/8142... ๐๐ช๐ #queerbooks #indiebooks
But nobody wants to deal with *that* sort of centre pull...
Nope, that was somebody else! But now that the 69th* seal has been broken, I shall pop back to add mine.
*(nice)
Oh yeah, the banner thingies look great!
Not me sitting here refusing to add the 70th like.

My stars, this is delightful!
If people would *just* use alt-text... ๐ก
It's been a busy couple of days but but BUUUUT, the full five episodes of Welcome to Fosters' are now out on the Neon Inkwell feed with Rusty Quill. Jill has existed in my head for the last ten years (if not more) and it's so great to HEAR her out in the world. shows.acast.com/neon-inkwell...

I'll ask!
It's *very* good cherry pie.
Ah, none of the above I'm afraid - I donned earplugs and scurried from room to room like a damp rodent skittering away from a loud but slow-moving predator.
Tomorrow, though, I have secured a promise of cherry pie from my favourite cafรฉ and will be taking it to the hairdresser for mutual therapy.
A very stocky Exmoor Horn ram.
Happy 8th anniversary to the tweet that changed us forever. Look at this absolute unit.
*sigh*
If your Kickstarter video/image is AI, I won't back it.
If your book has an AI cover, I won't read it.
If you're a public supporter of AI use for creative work, I will unfollow you.
I cannot stress enough how offensive I find AI use in the arts. It is outright theft, it is lazy, it is gross.
Does my need for No Thumpy and the promise of tasty goodies outweigh my reluctance to haul the girls into an over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder. ๐ค
Hello, I am re-casting for Strange-ec-tady, a horror comedy audio drama set in an alt-history urban fantasy version of Schenectady New York and the surrounding areas.

But Muuummm I don't wanna get dressed and put on a braaa woe is me and my uncontained norks whaaaaa ๐ญ
I'm migrating between my office and the kitchen as Mick the Render switches from the back to the front of the house (aka my collarbone and shoulderblades apparently, thanks proprioception).
Turns out my brain thinks the house (like the car when I'm in it) is part of my extended body, and it's like it's all happening inside my skull.
There is A Man crawling about on the outside of our house like a massive stompy spider, replacing the render, soffits, fascia and guttering. It needs doing, we want it done, but OH MY STARS THE THUMPING AND BANGING AND DRILLING AND SCRAPING!
A new Wiswell in these trying times? Don't mind if I do.
Thread posted from the end so you can get the whole delightful thing in one go. (And when you get back to this point, you too will snigger and mutter to yourself "I see what you did there sir".)
Ah, 'What is that concrete doing there (and why is it nine inches thick)?' - my least-favourite game during our neverending house remodel.
Dearly though I'd love to give this a like, at time of writing it has precisely 69* so I cannot.
I'll check back later.

Ooh, maybe they'd also like the 'distant herd of wildebeest suffering mass digestive discomfort' noise our freezer makes when it's de-icing.
I am Without Clue, but I want whatever-it-is.
