I'm truly undecided - which is pretty funny. I've always had unkind things to say about undecideds. Porter, Steyer, and Becerra each have attractive points and disqualifying ones. I wish Becerra weren't so beholden to the powers that be.

I tried to rewatch War of the Worlds recently and was appalled by what a horrible person his character was. I stopped about 20 minutes in.

I'm starting to suspect we don't live in the land of the free.

Tangentially, if/when the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact goes into effect, these kinds of shenanigans will be rendered meaningless.

I think 1) Porter doesn't have a lot of friends in party ranks and 2) the party doesn't want a billionaire outsider like Steyer coming in (plus real estate interests are a huge NOPE on his Prop 13 reform plan). Becerra is kind of boring but he's super competent.

If passports must list gender assigned at birth, then why do they require a current photo? Why not just remove gender as a field entirely from passports, driver's licenses, and the like?
