A timeline of key events in Ontario's Greenbelt controversy | CBC News Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced Thursday that he is reversing his decision to open protected Greenbelt lands for housing development. Here is a timeline of events in the Greenbelt controversy.

Ford is trying to remove FOI requests retroactively to 1988 because he is trying to hide his corruption. The FOI was the reason why journalists were able to showcase government collusion with developers and create awareness about the Greenbelt. Hands off Doug!

Ford should not be allowed to get away with everything that he's doing. We should be putting pressure on him like we did about his private jet. He should not be allowed to make changes to the Freedom of Information act. We need to rise up against his corruption!

Carbon tax stickers that don't stick. License plates you can't see. Beeping Covid bracelets that don't exist. Wind turbines torn down and then built again. An Ontario Science Centre roof that refuses to collapse.

Are we even sure Doug's new private jet has wings?

But #TrumperFord really needs his #GravyPlane to fly to Texas & Florida to make his secret deals to buy #MadeInUSA trains and nuclear reactors and to sell off #Ontario's water & mineral rights.
Rallies next Saturday, April 25, everywhere.

If you’re going to name a bill "Putting Student Achievement First," you should probably mention students more than five times. Instead, "liability" shows up 43 times. It’s pretty clear where the priority lies, and it isn’t in the classroom.

The $28.9 million could've been used to pay nurses, build affordable housing, purchase hospital beds, paid teachers, funded childcare, paid paramedics, and supported a public library branch. This was ascertained using: dougfordclownshow.ca

Government spending and mismanaged projects have cost us $39.9 billion, $15.7 billion in public land has been given away (in just 4 projects), $11.1 billion moved to healthcare privatization and he's still not done. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

We want to make it clear to our MPPs that we care about the First Nations right to self determination as well as environmental protections especially for the 100 critically endangered species.

BILL 5 - Mass Email Initiative and Petition.pdf

Bill 5 being known as the “Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act” is ironic considering that it only prioritizes corporate interests and allows them to ignore everyone else.

Make your disagreements with Bill 5 known to your MPP especially if they voted for it. This bill that completely side steps environmental regulation and the need for public consultation should have never been passed.

🧵Ontario's jails are operating way over capacity, new data shows, with the province-wide average at 130 per cent.

Some are as high as 160-plus per cent.

Here's what the data we obtained via freedom of information shows, and how the government is defending it. #OnPoli
