used twitter for a while on an old burner and i think some of the people there are stupider than the blue check bots

The reason you can tell Bluesky ain't popping off is because no one made a sexy buff man of it giving a Twitter twink floorboard creaking mattress-frame snapping backshots heard around the world wide web
Its kinda crazy to me that being fat is suspect to its own beauty standards. Like if you're fat and don't have a huge ass/tits, have too many folds as opposed to just love handles, or have "man boobs," that doesn't fit the bill.
Body acceptance but only when I can goon to it

White people don't say "this deck has a good grind game" anymore they say it "plays low to the ground"

Idiocracy is a film that was made with the idea to please as many centrists as possible.

Adding onto this some people get so stubborn on the idea of experimentation

Born to petdeck, forced into the worst group of people to discuss your deck with of all time
Scrolling Reddit for gaming news and wound up in a hilarious streak of threads on Trump's diagnosis where the top comment was deleted

did something new come out or did it just resurface outta nowhere
Being hateful ages people so they do everything in their power to cover it up and still Look Like That
Alvin & Gerson Boom are named after 64 players

the technicals meatriders shouldnt be here so i can safely say im not looking forward to chuds spearheading any discussion about mango
I love how this birthed a "Herman Cain Award" trend afterwards too
Im guessing the archetypes can mix? For reference the best Yugioh decks are like chimeras of 3 archetypes slammed together atm
I think this game has incredible potential to be something special but, it's teetering on a fine line. It is hard to separate it from Patapon, but I hope it just takes that formula and runs with it & a modern understanding of game design.
Still looking forward to it, I'm just wary atm.
The Negatives:
- Not being able to input another command during the middle of the Jump command feels awful
- UI is really cluttered
- There's no real penalty to losing the Cobun if you know how to move the main guy. They just... respawn after some time. Hopefully that doesn't stick around
The Worries:
- I pray to god this game isn't going to be Yet Another Roguelite. It's just the demo, but this type of game needs gated progression
- Army customization is pretty bare. I hope the Cobun can be individually upgraded and not just their equips
- Game doesn't explain itself well yet
Played a smidge of the Ratatan demo and thoughts go as such
The Positives:
- Game looks absolutely stunning
- I like the added positioning aspect, which I think can really separate this game from the Patapon roots as "March" can also be "get outta the damn way"
- Soundtrack is catchy, as expected
Anyhow, last note, here's my favorite tracks
Ch. 3
1) IT'S TV TIME
2) Raise Up Your Bat
3) TV WORLD
Ch. 4
1) Wise Words
2) The Second Sanctuary
3) Piano that may not be played that well
Only disappointment I had was I thought Lightners Live was gonna have more tracks and that there'd be a bit more weight with your score on it, considering how passionate Kris is about music.
Then Ch. 4 drove that piano shit into my heart and now I just want Kris to have a happy ending
I've noticed that, so far, the main cast haven't actually toppled the bad guys themselves in the main "good" endings.
Ch. 1: King gets the upper hand, has to be dethroned by Lancer
Ch. 2: Queen gets the upper hand, is stood up to by Noelle
Ch. 3: Knight was holding back
Ch. 4: Needed the GOAT.
Speaking of metanarrative, I genuinely think it's just. "what if the characters had thoughts about their purpose as game characters." I'd make a diagram for how I think it's supposed to go but it's like
Light World is to us as the Dark World is to the Light World.
I wasn't a Ralsei fan before these chapters, but it's really spelled out for you what he's supposed to be and also how that affects Deltarune's metanarrative. He's definitely a favorite of mine now.
peep the gerson essay i wrote my sister. happy father's day to gerson boom exactly
The Knight reveal in Chapter 3 showed Toby's hand on how he's writing this story. The events themselves are going to remain simple and deep-diving isn't necessary, and that's wonderful considering the metanarrative and the characters themselves are what's going to be worth sinking your teeth into
