Yesterday, I expressed to my team how I am absolutely not fond of "lunch and learns" they keep wanting to schedule.

I just learned that May 29 is when my contract job expires & might be my last day of employment (if they’re unsuccessful placing me on another team).

So now, the pressure is REALLY on for me to achieve this lofty goal of earning $1 million for retirement by end of May.

Don’t mean to get sappy on here. I’m crying as I finally have my ged. I’m also driving, have a partner who loves me, and my independence. It took nearly two years after escaping my abusive family who told me I’m not worth it. It’s a happy feeling, but also very surreal. To have this means a lot.
