Yes! Get connected to your local chapter. I can help you get where you need to go.
Now the Los Angeles chapter knows they have enough support for them to strike on their own if they so choose. Also, for an email, if you create a separate one, specifically to sign your strike card (whether you sign digitally or not), we recommend Proton mail.
we can share important info. We also ask for a real ZIP Code, and this is because it allows local chapters to see how much support they have. For example, let’s say out of all the strike cards that have been signed thus far, 3.5% of that came from Los Angeles.👇

Doesn’t exist, this help your chapter start one. Right now Los Angeles and San Diego have one. Colorado is working on getting theirs started.
to your local strike fund, get involved in local mutual aid, a community garden, food pantry, etc. Again, all this info is posted in that thread. During an actual strike, since you would be working, take a portion of your pay to support striking workers, which would go to your local fund. If a 👇
So, this is a personal decision, but for people who work in healthcare, we understand how you wouldn’t want to actually go on strike. However, there are tons of other ways to help with preparing for a strike. Join your local chapter (which that info is in the thread I posted), donate👇
It’s only going to get worse, and we don’t mean to fear monger, it’s just the objective reality. Especially when people within marginalized communities are asking us to shake a tail feather; warning us.
Get involved in your chapter, get involved in mutual aid, start a strike fund
THIS is the Trump Administrations proposed budget. In Trump’s words, there is no money for healthcare or childcare because he is fighting a war, and wars are expensive. Below is a thread breaking down some info regarding GSUS. 👇

Get that group in touch with your local chapter of general strike? Meet your neighbors on your block/building? We could go on and on, but this is the type of work we are talking about.

Have you read any of our material which is linked in the bio? Many of your questions may already be answered - especially when is comes to the type of work that needs to be done. Have you researched a local mutual aid group in your area? Sent them an email to asking how you can help?👇
To add to the video, yes, you should still vote. However, we are going to have to walk and chew gum at the same time. We have TONS of reasources on the type of work that needs to be done. Join your local chapter. Start the work with an already assembled group. Start your own local charter.
