Haha yes, I'm familiar with the Toronto racoons! Interesting that you haven't seen them in the prairies, maybe not as much accessible waste food?!
Thanks Derek!
Thanks Garrett!
Thanks Thomas, looking forward to being part of the team soon!
Thank you!
Thanks Rachel! βΊοΈ
Thanks!
My research will focus on the study of atmospheric aerosols and environmentally relevant films using single particle and surface sensitive methods! I'm looking forward to starting a new Canadian chemistry adventure! π¨π¦ π₯οΈ

I am excited to announce that I will start as an Assistant Professor at York University in the department of chemistry in February 2025!
Why should you care about indoor air?
1) You spend over 90% of your time indoors.
2) Chemical concentrations are typically higher indoors.
3) You breathe in a greater air mass than you ingest water mass.
4) You can't control the air you breathe in public spaces.
Isn't this post ironic, don't you think? But seriously worth a read! www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/jan/02/smartphones-attention-economy-reclaim-free-time?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
Ever wanted to measure the viscosity and surface tension of droplets at supercooled temperatures using one technique? Then check out our new paper: amt.copernicus.org/articles/16/...

Happy to use my first skeet to announce publication of the FINAL paper from my PhD work & it's a radical one (pun intended)! pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10....
We used neutron reflectometry to show aqueous phase oxidation of organic films at the air-water interface is important for atmospheric aerosols.
