My biggest takeaway from being unemployed for 2 months is that I STILL don't know how people find time to grind these ranked games.

Granblue discord taught me that my guesstimate for how much delay there was online was way off. Practicing in higher delay now, game a little less frustrating lol. Variable input delay still sucks though, I wish I could just set it to static 2F or something.

After getting better from possibly covid, my wisdom tooth starts aching then on the opposite side I get an earache. I can't win.

I think it was ok until the mid-game where gen 3 Kanto's flaws really came out: A billion poison types (now with levitate!), bad learnsets and TMs, gym leader item spam, too many garbage encounters that weren't worth catching. Not fun dealing with all that on top of nuzlocke rules.

Finished a FR nuzlocke and I'll be honest I did not enjoy it lmao. I'll stick to playing hacks and randomizers. At least nobody died during the elite four+champion.

Also been playing Hacker's Memory. I like it but compared to CS they're stingy as fuck when it comes to exp.

I'm on ch 6 they still got me fighting babies in rando encounters but ultimates in the story, then I get no exp from story fights. Only got 1 farm upgrade and 3 memory ups too like wtf man.

Probably not gonna finish my Mega+ playthrough in Time Stranger though, takes too long to kill things even with maxed out stats.

That last fight in the DLC sealed it for me, I'd get halfway through the boss's lifebar after like 30-40 minutes before running out of SP and having to give up.

Completed a Digimon pokedex before I ever did a Pokemon one somehow.

Felt like this took too long, but I was sick literally the whole time so I give myself grace lol

Fever gone at least and I haven't noticed as many withdrawal symptoms still but this cough still hasn't gone away after a full week like wtf man.

While suffering, I did beat Cyber Sleuth again tho before the Time Stranger DLC drops. I forgot how grindy these games could get, definitely got 100+ hours just from leaving the game on while I passed out and let my shitmons train in the farm.

I wish the Sistermons were in Time Stranger.
