i know some people are really tired of seeing like 100 ppl at most say this constantly but: i will never not be bitter about cohost facing demise and people vilifying it under the pretense that this was a valid (if not "better") alternative to the twitter exodus of the time

peak cohost was like an age of myth with how nice it was; I only got on in the last arc of it's life in other circles there, around may 2024.

what was it like for game dev circles?

Per the WA State Constitution, taxation rates must be uniform and this was affirmed in a ruling from 90 years ago.

So instead, AFAIK, *everyone* in the state has a 9.9% income tax *and* an annual income tax deduction of $1,000,000.
