I didn’t know it! It is great though (especially as embedded in its moment). And I can honestly say that these books are not under the banner of “Make Poetry Palatable for the People,” etc. These books will definitely give you a headache…

For National Poetry Month I would like to invite people to go outside without a phone and notice when two things are trying to resemble each other. You don't even have to write it down.

I am headed to Nashville tomorrow for a book talk and workshop at Vanderbilt. I spent two years with this department after I finished my Phd and before I truly conceived of what I was doing as writing a book. It feels so special to come back now! as.vanderbilt.edu/english/robe...
please CC me on that email
a true gem! As someone thrilled about this book but also psyched about your next project, very apropos: "As we go on, we remember/ all the times we had together/ As our lives change, come whatever..."
Senior skip day coming up?!
Poster for talk at Vanderbilt on Friday, Feb 27th at 2pm. Talk is by Keegan Cook Finberg and entitled "Reproduction and Generality: Feminist Diets in Poetry by Bernadette Mayer, Adrian Piper, and Eleanor Antin." There is a headshot of Keegan and a picture of her book, Poetry in Genera: How a Literary Form Became Public.
I am thrilled to be giving a public lecture for the Vanderbilt English Department next week. If you are in Nashville, come hear me talk about social reproduction, diets, and poetry.
