Interesting thanks! might back Schade for the goal threat then. Hopefully he at least makes it to 60 each game 🤞

Sorry to bother you mate,
Looking at Schade or Damsgaard to start in 27 and 29 (then wildcard).
I’d imagine Damsgaard is more safe but would love to punt Schade if you think his mins are good? Thanks 🙏
Konate injured for 5-6 weeks. Gomez in for me now
Also feels like the case it’s either a very bad injury or he’s fine. No news is good news I guess
I mean we can’t rule him out and if he’s fit he’s starting 100%

Díaz just shades the left wing spot. I think he’ll keep Walker busier though Gakpo may have more end product, I think that will come from the bench.
Think this front line brings the most intensity and aggression which the likes of Gakpo and Szoboszlai can exploit as the game goes on.
And I’ve gone for an unchanged front line. I don’t see Slot employing Díaz centrally from the start. Will be looking for Darwin to harass and run the channel alongside Mo. An early-ish sub in midweek is to be viewed positively from my POV.
Gravenberch almost certainly at the base of the midfield and I think we will be unchanged in midfield from Madrid so Szoboszlai misses out.
Jones and Mac Allister just seem to have another level at the moment. Jones the more likely of the two to miss out as I’m fairly confident Macca takes the 8.
To round off the most uncertain backline in history, Robertson will likely continue at left back, no word on Tsimikas’ availability but in any case, I’d imagine this is Robertson’s game.
Konate went down at the end of the game after being landed on rather awkwardly. I don’t have much insight to add, if he’s fit he will certainly play but Slot didn’t know yesterday/wouldn’t say.
If he’s out Gomez will be the likely replacement ahead of Quansah.
Trent should start. Bradley picked up a hamstring problem against Madrid that is rumoured to keep him out for a few weeks at least.
Gomez was his replacement midweek but the extra 3 days should allow for Trent to be have been fully involved in training and ready to go at the weekend.
I have Kelleher at 70% as there is a possibility that Alisson is fit. Even so, I don’t envisage us rushing him back into the side until they are convinced he has fully recovered with the way Kelleher is playing.
With Slot’s press conference occurring yesterday, we’re a little bit in the dark. Bradley and Konate could be out and Alisson and Tsimikas could be back in the squad.
I will attempt to keep you updated if we get any definitive news on injuries at the end of the thread.

Or you could look at it and say he’s just as likely to start as Gomez 🤪
But yeah I gave my reasons in the thread, if he’s being rested, now makes the most sense

Yeah don’t massively love any of them. Slight preference for Hall because Konate’s fixtures aren’t great and RAN is on the 4 yellows. I’m looking at Colwill myself
Most LFC Predictors/fans will have him starting. I’m in the minority

There’s still a chance Darwin misses out with Díaz playing centrally but it doesn’t feel necessary for this game.
All very close again.
I think Díaz just misses out with Darwin and Gakpo starting. This is a combination of looking ahead to Madrid and his tougher scheduling.
Gakpo only started once for the Netherlands and Darwin came off at half time in his 2nd game.
If I’m predicting Jones as the left sided 8, this benefits Gakpo.
Some folks have been half suggesting that Salah may not start this with the upcoming fixture congestion but I highly doubt it, especially given he had an international break for rest for once.
He may get the odd early sub to compensate if he’s slightly off or the game is under control.
So if I don’t expect Szoboszlai to start against Madrid or City, I think he will be given this game.
I think Mac Allister will be the one to miss out due to a much shorter turnaround thanJones and the extra travel.
This is all very close though and Elliott is to come back into the mix soon!
Gravenberch had limited minutes in his second match with the Netherlands so he should be good to go, so we’re back to 2/3 of Jones, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai.
Going off of form, I think Jones and Mac Allister should be first choice and so I think they may start together in both RMA and MCI games.
Van Dijk is fit and well rested after being sent back early from the Netherlands. He and Salah are the only ones we can hope to be ever presents.
Tsimikas and Robertson feels like a coin toss. I’m still half expecting Robertson to be prioritised against elite opposition so Tsimikas gets this one.
If Bradley is playing RB, then I think Gomez offers more experience and security than Quansah but it is very close, especially considering the fact that I believe Gomez may start at right back against Real Madrid in midweek.
Moreover, Konate played the full 180 mins with France, albeit the 2nd game was on Sunday. I just think this is the game he has to miss if he’s going to miss any.
I’ve gone with Gomez over Quansah after his impressive 2nd half outing against Brighton (where he was chosen ahead of Quansah).
The surprise in this position is Konate’s omission with Gomez starting at RCB. Quite simply, this is the best opportunity we have to rest Konate over the coming games.
Looking at the fixture list, I wouldn’t be comfortable benching him against any other opposition.
Bradley is by no means assured to deputise. Gomez can also play the position well but I think Slot will afford a bit more attacking impetus to this fixture and go with Bradley who scored on international break with Northern Ireland.
