When people from this administration appear before Congress, I would love to see quotes around "Honorable" on their placard.
I would love to see legislation that mandates all smart glasses have a bright outward-facing light to indicate when the camera is "on", and making it a felony to disable it.
Seems generally applicable ("Patel has no idea")

Unsettling to think that the two people charged with the safety of America on the national level are incompetents who also have issues with alcohol.

President Reagan ordered NASA to augment/replace the Shuttle before the January 1986 Challenger accident. NASA proposed "Shuttle II" designs but Reagan didn't mean it.
You know how that turned out.
Anyway, here's my favorite Shuttle II design.

A tweet from Representative Thomas Massie that reads: I just viewed 2 Top Secret FISA docs. 1) FISA Court opinion that raises serious concerns about FBI implementation of FISA 702. 2) letter by Senator Wyden describing a secret government interpretation of FISA law. The Constitution requires I vote No on FISA 702 reauthorization.
I sent a classified letter to House and Senate colleagues about a secret interpretation of surveillance law that every American should be concerned about.
Representative Massie is right. The Constitution requires EVERY member to vote against a clean reauthorization.
Senator Wyden can’t say it plainly without losing his security clearance, but this raises the alarm that Kash & crew have decided they can illegally surveil Americans without a warrant.
He has shown his hand... he's building an impenetrable fortress so that he can resist any attempt to remove him from office after the 2028 election.
Trump: The White House doesn't have a Ballroom (No Taxpayer Money!), which Presidents have desperately wanted and desired for over 150 years, but a Trump Hating, Washington, D.C. District Court Judge, a man who has gone out of his way to undermine National Security, and to make sure that this Great Gift to America gets delayed, or doesn't get built, is attempting to prevent future Presidents and World Leaders from having a safe and secure large scale Meeting Place, or Ballroom, one with Bomb Shelters, a State of the Art Hospital and Medical Facilities, Protective Partitioning, Top Secret Military Installations, Structures, and Equipment, Protective Missile Resistant Steel, Columns, Roofs, and Beams, Drone Proof Ceilings and Roofs, Military Grade Venting, and Bullet, Ballistic, and Blast Proof Glass —which all means that no future President, living in the White House without this Ballroom, can ever be Safe and Secure at Events, Future Inaugurations, or Global Summits. This Magnificent Space will allow them to carry out their vital duties as the
allow them to carry out their vital duties as the Leader of our Nation. Furthermore, the Ballroom, which is being constructed on budget and ahead of schedule, is needed now. Almost all material necessary for its construction is being built and/ or on its way to the site, ready for installation and erection. Much of it has already been paid for, costing Hundreds of Millions of Dollars. If somebody, especially one with no standing, had a complaint — Why wasn't it filed many months earlier, long before Construction was started? The Public Record was open for all to see. Everybody knew that it was planned, and going to be built. This highly political Judge, and his illegal overreach, is out of control, and costing our Nation greatly. This is a mockery to our Court System! The Ballroom is deeply important to our National Security, and no Judge can be allowed to stop this Historic and Militarily Imperative Project. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP 6 ReTruths 18 Likes 4/16/26, 11:45 AM
Trump claims those suing over his ballroom should’ve done it earlier.
“Why wasn't it filed many months earlier, long before Construction was started?
The Public Record was open for all to see.
Everybody knew that it was planned, and going to be built.”
All of that is untrue, obviously.
"All the planning charts and demolition orders have been on display at your local planning department in Alpha Centauri for 50 of your Earth years, so you’ve had plenty of time to lodge any formal complaint and it’s far too late to start making a fuss about it now."

Boeing Starliner capsule returns from the ISS in orbit, lands in the New Mexico desert. Space capsule with large airbag-like cushions on its bottom hangs below three very large red/white/blue parachutes as it descends to a soft landing on the desert floor with a mountain in the background.
Boeing Starliner also lands on land.
