The 25th Amendment is not the only option. Article II, Section 4 provides for impeachment and conviction for high crimes and misdemeanors. That framework has always been there. The question is whether they have the courage to act.

You're right, though, they won't. I often wonder how they sleep at night when they watch the egregeous things that Trump is doing, knowing that they're enabling him. And I wonder the same about the Supreme Court Justices who voted to give him immunity. It's really unbelievable!
