Sonnet 4.6 is def faster than 4.5 and I like that it’s cheaper than Opus but I feel like it’s not as good. I don’t actually have any hard data to back this up. It’s just a feeling. Has anyone else been using Sonnet and have thoughts?

You still need someone prompting the agent so it wouldn't be -100% salary. I def see AI speeding a lot of devs up enough that less devs are needed and a part of these lay offs stick. But I have yet to see compelling evidence that the agent can replace a SWE without a competent SWE prompting it.
