A screenshot of a preorder for Splatoon Raiders and the three related amiibo.
I have been a Netflix subscriber since 2011. I finally cancelled today ahead of yet another price increase. Back in 2020 I paid $13 compared to the $20 they're pushing now. Cutting back on Netflix means I just funded my new pre-order.
I'm good with this. I'll get Netflix for Bake Off for Nov only.

But considering one of my most anticipated games is Splatoon Raiders, it was awesome to see this trailer just appear from thin air.

I will say, one of my highest disappointments for this style of presentation is that I can't run a big prediction game like I've done in past years.
Back in the E3 Direct days I could have time to know when it was hitting, develop the game, and give people the chance to vote.

How was the challenge on this? I remember reading some review that said it was unfairly hard. Is that true at all?

I hope they do rerelease it. That's the only Ace Attorney game I've played, the Layton crossover.
It was a good one. I bought one of the trilogies but haven't yet started it.

11.) Lil Gator Game: In The Dark
This is essentially a full sequel to an already great game. The story here is also very tender. I was first slightly disoriented in the 'depths' but I really enjoyed this whole experience. A really good time.

This is why I like Smash Bros. I've never liked having to memorize combos. I also never cared that much for trying to find the deep hit box strategy.
I'm an items-on kind of Smash fan. The chaos and simplicity is fun, and yes, absolutely the IP is attractive and I connect with it.

Absolutely incredible.

I was extra-delighted by the match finisher. I had been taunting with this person for minutes. Back and forth. I was missing my shots with the explosive but that 'through the smoke, upon landing finish'... What a way to win!
Plus I claimed a crown earlier so that just made things extra sweet.

I'm not opposed to playing it someday but I can't fit it in either, and I shouldn't spend the money, and I haven't even tried the demo.
Maybe I'll give it a taste this summer.

I popped on today just for one quick match to get the daily XP. I love how I just barely managed this kill. I wish it was a closer view, lol.
Yes, it was mostly luck maybe.

I'm not planning to play this, but I'm so happy when a new IP does well. I'm happy for the devs who made something special. I'm happy for the gamers who are having a special moment. I'm happy for society for coming together to celebrate a win.
Have fun Pragmata fans!

This is really cool!... but how heavy is that base? I worry about the center of gravity being easy to knock this over... My cat would like a word with this.
As we learned in Welcome Tour, the current standard dock is specifically designed to avoid such topples. Does this feature anything for that?

I'm aghast at your overrated pick, but your personal impact is redeeming.
Fun grid. I'll try to remember to go do this.

I suspect it might end up on the list via my wife's picks. Not sure about 3 and 4. So I expect it'll come up sometime this year.

That's what I'm doing now, nearly at the end of the DLC. The story really was special and I like how they did the story of the DLC.

The movie poster for 'Black Phone 2'.
38.) Black Phone 2
In a rare moment, I was actually not feeling this film at first. Starts slow and confusing.
However it did get better after the first act. I ended up liking it a good amount. Maybe not as wholistically good as the first one but still worth watching.

10.) Lil Gator Game
One of the most chill 'adventure' games I've ever played. I first beat this on Game Pass almost two years ago to the day. I enjoyed my replay here on Switch. The story on this is such a delight too. Speaks so true.

Haha, yeah, I had a similar thought. I should start leaving these around town like people do those tiny Jesus figures. I certainly have enough to spare.
