Reached the most boring part of the Lego NES build: 2x30 pieces of track 😪

Although it is a bit tedious, I appreciate the cleverness behind it, so I get why it’s needed, but oh god will it get worse before it gets better 🫣

Imagine if Jacob would have turned into a tuxedo cat instead of a werewolf LOL

If you ask me, I think he would have got the girl 😄

And the little Mario course Easter egg that is hidden by one of walls on the side of the build adds some more flavor to what essentially is a box 😅

Really like the way they didn’t just keep it plain.

Finished the NES itself and OMG the cartridge mechanism is soo satisfying!

The latch is a 2x2 upside down plate, holding a technic rod into place when it’s pushed down. So creative! 😯

Started building the Lego 71374 NES and I have to say - it’s shaping up to be one of the most interesting ones in my collection.

I am just 3 bags in, but I can already see so many clever techniques to get the cartridge mechanism working.

Cannot wait to see what’s next! 🤩

Looks great! Congrats on pushing through 😄

I know a bit about sets w/ too many small pieces, but I learnt to appreciate the details they give in the end.

Ah, the DnD set is one I don’t have yet but I am sooo looking to get it.

Only thing is that hefty price tag 😵

Haha these are so cool. Would love to see maybe Lego Steve from Minecraft next to them 🤞🏻

Can confirm that they look very nice next to actual plants.

I especially like the plum blossoms 😌

Damn, BD-1 is to this day one of the Star Wars sets I am most happy about. It captures the character so well, and I also love the battery pack slot 😄

Damn, what a beauty of a set 🤩

You have been the customer of the LDS: Lego Distribution Service 😆 I thought this only existed for cats

Ah, this one is so beautiful. Especially considering how many details the fit into this scale.

I used to overlook the speed champs series, but I can tell now why they are so successful.

Great looking builds, both this and the Audi 😌

Is this Lego DOTS? 😮 I never thought of all the possibilities you can build w/ it, but this painting is awesome!

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Haha, that is awesome 😄 I just have it next to Chewbacca and I am hunting for a sale on the R2-D2. Heard I can pose C-3PO so it pats D2 in the head 😁

Would have loved to be able to take him out of the stand and puppeteer him around, but as is the case with the Lego Chewbacca, I can see these sets being made to be displayed.

For the average Star Wars fan, I’d say this is a good buy, especially if you can get it on sale. 3/3

The play features, however, are lacking. You can pose C-3PO in many ways that can resemble different scenes from the movie, but that is pretty much it. The head turns 360 and the knees do not bend. Also, the model is firmly attached to the base via a pin with a tow ball and clips 2/3

To explain the ratings:
The set looks great. From any and every angle. Lego makes for such a good medium to build something as clunky as C-3PO, and the model does well to capture its uniqueness and goofiness.

It was a joy to build. I have used the builder app to build it side by side with my gf 1/3

Added the Lego 75398 C-3PO to the collection tonight and I was reluctant to get this one at first.

But the promo pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely jam packed with SNOT techniques, especially for the head piece.

Ah, this is still one of the ones I plan to get. It’s just that the price tag is a little steep.

Maybe 🤞🏻 it will be on sale at some point

Happy building! This is one of the most beautiful sets Lego came up w/.
Also full of clever building techniques (more so in the 2nd and 3rd part of the build).

Excited to see pictures of the result 😯
