Front cover of The Names by Florence Knapp. Shows a man from behind, his shadow split into 3 men.
Started this book just before bed last night and got up early to finish it. I loved it even though it had me in tears at times. Iโll be thinking about it for a while.

Norah Mary HANIGAN and the Drumcollogher, Limerick Cinema Fire of 1926
Can you help? We are in contact with someone who is researching a cinema fire in 1926 in Dromcollogher, Limerick which resulted in multiple deaths. Does anyone have any information about the location of the memorial? #NWKFHS
Iโve just read her first letter. Think Iโm going to enjoy this book ๐
I do sometimes judge a book by its cover and this one really caught my eye. #BookSky #LibrarySky
I havenโt. Just had a look on Fantastic Fiction so might give that a try. Thank you!
Icelandic noir is definitely my favourite just now. Running out of authors!
I enjoyed this one. My last book of 2025 #BookSky
It really is. Itโs a great app. I probably donโt make best use of it but I like tracking my reading.
I love this cover collage feature in Storygraph. This is my 2025 reading list and the vast majority were free from the library. #BookSky #LibrarySky
A really interesting and entertaining read. Nothing about it made me want to take up cycling or visit America but I do admire his courage and determination.

Just finished Home Before Dark by Eva Bjรถrg รgisdottir. I just love Iceland and Icelandic crime fiction and รgisdottir is one of the best. Available at your local library.

These are holidays they went by themselves so I donโt know where exactly they were.
Thank you!
Some very helpful information here

Not a topping I would order!
Thank you!
Donโt often get to join #GenHour but at home this evening with COVID so thanks for the chat.
Good point!
Probably not a word Iโve ever written but I seem to remember them labelled as syboes at the greengrocer. Bluesky doesnโt like that spelling!
Not a word you hear much now.
Storage is a big issue. Plus as time passes fewer people will recognise who these people are so I definitely need to get them organised and labelled. Hoping that makes it more likely for future generations to want to keep them. #GenHour
I have done the scanning and should have organised them then. I inherited a real mess of a box and it was all too much. I will also have to organised the scanned photos.
I always feel bad getting rid of photos but I have all the old family photos which include things like waiters in the hotels where my parents stayed.
I bought a photo storage box with individual cases to help sort through all the old pics but I keep putting it off because it seems such a huge task #GenHour
I think Iโd keep these ones in case the significance becomes apparent later in your research.
A perfect holiday read ๐๐
Front cover of Speak To Me Of Home by Jeanine Cummins
Whatโs everyone reading right now? Iโm enjoying this one which is a recent arrival at the library.
