Another outcome from Trump’s America slapping Ukraine in the face is that he has provided a huge impetus for European nations - especially Ukraine 🇺🇦- to develop other sources of weaponry than America.

Zelensky just out with a long comment after the latest Ramstein meeting. Optimistic and gives thanks to many partners. Not a single mention of the US helping Ukraine.

The Ukrainians are not hiding the fact that the US is no longer their friend.

Does Eurostar still employ any people at all to answer their phones? I have called them about 10 times over the last week and no matter when one calls, there are always too many calls and one is asked to call back before the call is terminated ?! 🤨

Vance says that stopping funding for Ukraine is one of his proudest achievements in this administration.

I’m watching this stunningly cruel speech from Ukraine, as Russia continues to kills us every day. Just today, they killed 8-year-old boy in Cherkasy and five people in Dnipro.

Kemi Badenoch’s memory wipe and the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind | John Crace The Tory leader, now seemingly more gentle, is blessed with the ability to forget everything that happened the day before

"It’s not just that she is capable of forgetting everything that happened before she became leader of the Tories in the autumn of 2024. It’s also that she is blessed with the ability to forget anything that happened the day before."

There was no good way to organise this visit and nothing gained by sending him. A severe risk to national dignity, undertaken for no advantage whatsoever.

What an utter shit-sack Vance is. Cowardly, immoral and venal…
Basically he’s the anti-Zelenskyy. No wonder he hates the Ukrainian leader so much.

Hardest working leader in history?

I've not even had chance to write-up the results of Zelenskyy's Germany trip, when Ukraine's President touches down in Norway.

As I wrote earlier, he will meet with the country's PM.

This is great GREAT news.

And I hope the EU rapidly reciprocates by freeing up money to Hungary too.

Peter Magyar’s party has soundly defeated Viktor Orban in today’s election. Congrats to the Hungarian people for vanquishing a corrupt Putin puppet, and rejecting Trump, Vance and Rubio’s desperate and foolish attempt to tamper in your democracy.

That is hardly an answer to the bigger question.

Why did you think such rigid red lines were a good idea when your plan was to super boost the economy?

Opinion | Viktor Orban’s Fate Is a Warning Not to Get Too Close to Trump The Hungarian leader’s 16-year rule could be coming to a close.

President Trump’s embrace of Viktor Orban “may be a kiss of death for the Hungarian leader,” David Broder writes.

my best guess is that a Trumpian Pentagon official, high on his own supply as they all are, thought "get your boss to play ball or we will do an Avignon on him" would genuinely intimidate AN 80-YEAR-OLD CARDINAL FROM FRANCE, which is perhaps the funniest thing anyone has ever done at the Pentagon

Russian paper: "Only the feverish mind of the US president can consider this a triumphant victory" YouTube video by Steve Rosenberg

Donald Trump may have declared ‘total and complete victory’ after a ceasefire with Iran. But this morning's Russian newspapers don’t agree. One writes: “Only the feverish mind of the American president himself can consider this a triumphant victory.” #ReadingRussia

I went and saw Project Hail Mary.
A guy came in with his service dog and the dog sat there the whole time just concentrating on the movie.
Afterwards I told the guy I was amazed your dog watched the movie like that.
He replied, me too especially because he hated the book.

I was just talking to a friend today about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - new books every month, totally for free, for kids ages 1-5.

My son was part of the program - this is a copy of the letter that came with his last book, right after his 5th birthday.
