Then as now ...
It’s a cover up.
Rather than pushing food production in a healthier direction, Kennedy’s ascent could bolster the status quo.

I'm so glad I found you here. I'm trying to cut down on Facebook because it's so toxic. I'm AuDHD in my 50's with a teen just a little younger than you. I started watching your videos because she has ARFID and there is like zero support where we are now. We are also homeschooling.
There are many differences in the U.S. & U.K.'s legal system & decisions. In 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that discrimination based on gender identity qualifies as sex discrimination in Bostock v. Clayton County, a decision numerous lower courts reaffirmed.

In a devastating decision, the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court has ruled that trans women are ineligible for protections as women under their 2010 Equality Act.
While this is a heartbreaking decision, the Court affirmed that trans people are protected under many of the U.K.’s nondiscrimination laws.

Four panel meme drawing, labelled "ASAN Leadership." First panel is a green figure iwth a hat in a cave opening a chest, saying "I've finally found it...after 15 years." Second panel is the same being pulling out a shining scroll and saying, "The scroll of truth!" Third panel is the scroll unraveled and it says, "Workers organizing show they care deeply about their work and their community they serve, not that they're trying to harm the organization." Those new 1 in 31 autism rates are NOT evidence of an "autism epidemic": @autisticadvocacy.org is not surprised to see the diagnosis rate increase. We believe—as the report explains—this increase reflects better recognition & diagnosis of autism across the U.S."

So what do you think? 😂
Hey Trump, Musk, and Congressional Republicans:
HANDS OFF OUR JUDGES!
Hope this helps.
Autism didn’t make them do it. Mental illness didn’t, either. This personal piece from The Big Picture cuts through the excuses and names the real issue: some people are just hateful, and we need to stop giving them cover.

abled people: We must make sure people are actually disabled before we give them disability money. abled people: we shall make it very rigorous, require a lot of effort on their part to prove that they're disabled abled people: effort that disabled people may not even be able to accomplish due to their disabilities. abled people: this is a solid system, all the people who need the money are definitely getting it.
Autistics don't need "social skills training," not unless non-autistics are ALSO being trained in autistic social expectations. When we only use neurotypical norms and expectations, autistics will always look “deficient” & neurotypicals will always look “capable.”
