THIS BOOK completely shattered me! Historical fiction is my favorite genre, so I was NOT disappointed. @colsonwhitehead.com did an amazing job exposing the shameful history of the Dozier Reformatory School, and what an amazing plot twist. The movie is also UH-MAZING #TheNickelBoys

a friend of mine has gotten through so many titles with the help of audiobooks. literally hundreds in a year alone. everyday, she is listening to audio books. unfortunately, there isn't enough time in the day, in our careers, to turn those pages one by one. even reading is automated now.

"We're new here," the distraught woman says in despair.

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.
