While its sights and sounds are up to scratch for the sci-fi franchise, Tron: Ares is ephemeral in its execution thanks to disengaged storytelling and a lack of compelling characters.

Third franchise entry Tron: Ares is as aesthetically and aurally striking as you would expect, but a derivative meeting-of-worlds narrative has lessened the escapism.

That is one of the worst book titles I have ever seen.
