I think one of the worst quirks of online spaces is the idea that if someone doesn't post about something, they don't care about it. It encourages performative posting often makes things worse.

A closer look at: HOME FEED PREFERENCES (toggle drawing) Show Replies: toggle to allow, and adjust "likes" to see more/fewer replies to posts in your home feed (tl) Less likes = more replies seen = FULLER TIMELINE Show Reposts: you can turn off all reposts here, but you can't turn off reposts from individual accts (yet.) Show Quote Posts: you can turn off QPs, but reposts will still be visible if you don't turn them off as well.

Intro to Bluesky privacy: (drawing of unlocked padlock) 1. Your Bluesky acct is PUBLIC (as of yet there is NO priovate option) 2. If you MUTE someone it's Private but... 5. If you create a Mute Lists it's PUBLIC! you can follow others' mute lists and/or make your own by going to Moderation --> Mute Lists
