Happy release day to Savannah Stephens & her incredible debut Witch Queen Rising.
WQR was a 5⭐️ read for me & one of my favorite books of 2026 so far. Full review on Goodreads & StoryGraph. 🔗 in bio.
Thank you to Savannah & @berkleypub.bsky.social for the gifted eARC. #booksky #booktok #books

Weekend read.
The last few days have been tough health wise so I’m only attempting 1 book. This one is interesting to say the least. If you enjoy dark gothic horror it might be right up your alley. If you like romance or romantasy, proceed w/caution. Definitely check TWs. #booksky #booktok #books
In a way congratulations does fit. At least now I have a diagnosis and can finally start treatment.
I hope you’re doing okay. Chronic illnesses suck.
I just started Innamorata by Ava Reid. I think I’ll probably just stick to that over the weekend. I’m too tired to attempt two books lol.
That looks so relaxing.🩷
Thank you so much. I’m definitely going to be making some changes to my medical team. I’m glad you’ve been able to do so and I hope you’re feeling as good as possible.
Thanks for this advice. I’m going to start doing the same. Also, going to find a new pcp & rheum.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this too.
You’re absolutely right I’m beyond angry at this point. I begged my pcp & rheumatologist for testing for years and they both blew me off. The way they acted you’d think they were personally having to pay for the labs.😒
Sending you positive vibes.🫂
Woke up this morning to a notification in MyChart saying that I have the autoimmune condition I’ve been begging my pcp to test for, for 5 yrs.
It took me finding an NP at an entirely different office & specialty to finally get the simple labs done. I honestly don’t know how to feel right now.
Seriously! My husband said Emory is going to start studying me.
Every time I leave the house I seem to get a new one.😂
I feel you. I came home yesterday with potentially 4 new diagnoses.😭
If I were closer I’d volunteer, but I fear then we’d just be two decrepit ladies together.😂😭
Lol, we can dream.🤷🏻♀️😂
Not yet, but it’s going on the TBR.
I can see the judgement in her eyes. I know she loves her momma though and will be right by your side providing moral support.
That cover!🩷

Deathly Fates is out today! I absolutely loved this one, and I think you will, too. You can read my spoiler-free review here:

Exactly! I didn’t actually need the Colorsoft, but I wanted it so for once I said f*ck it and bought something completely unnecessary.
Now I take the Paperwhite out with me since I don’t worry as much about something happening to it. Makes all these doctors appointments more bearable.
I bought a Paperwhite for the first time in 2024. Also got the pink. I loved it so much I got myself the Colorsoft over the holidays. Love it too. My only gripe is that it doesn’t come in pink, but all my book covers look pretty on it.
I recently won a giveaway by @lookingglasslit.bsky.social and look how gorgeous this book is!
I’ve had Cabaret in Flames on my TBR for a minute so I’m thrilled to have a beautiful finished copy. Thank you to Looking Glass Literary for the win. #booksky #booktok #books
Lol that’s a great name for it.
If I lived out there I’d help you eat it. Can’t get diabetes if we split it.😂
I’m late posting my weekend reads because I’m not feeling so hot, but here they are.
I’m arc reading Bridesmaids and Broomsticks & really enjoying it.
I was turned down on NetGalley for Year of the Mer, but my Libby hold just came in.🩷 #booksky #booktok #books #weekendreads
Right! Sending you all the positive vibes.😘
I hope tonight is better.🩷
Two new arc reads for the week. I’m in love with both of these covers. Aren’t they gorgeous? #booksky #booktok #books #arcreader
She’s doing well thankfully. I hope you are too. Lupus can be such a tricky disease to manage.
Same. It hits even harder because my daughter has lupus and how Ryan wrote it was very accurate.
So true. I was a mess by the end of Reel.
