why does the main focus of a game/story need to be a self-insert or player projection rather than their own person? Games need more asshole main characters with barely any redeeming facets being an unsatisfying spiral into doom.

It's so hard to play a game with friends without any kind of background progression happening along the way for me, it's extremely worrying and I wonder why I get so bored after a bit. And whenever I'm bored I start looking at bsky or fucking paragon or some shit, and don't respond to anybody. Bleh.

We're so overstimulated, girl. Everything is GaaS this, forkknife battlepass that. Craving dopamine hits means we need a motivation to interact rather than use games as a metaphorical campfire to gather around. Detoxing from all that feels borderline impossible.

Noted, though with the stat squishing throughout (particularly lunatic) in order to make enemies less statballs and more of a smooth progression, the removal of bases-calc'd additional pairup bonuses is more to bring pair up in line with that.

Endgame is ambitious but buggy, I'll work to fix it.

I was randomly inspired to try to reconnect with some oomfs from when I was a teenager during the awakening release era only to see they vanished off the internet several years ago. Either they all switched handles and left zero trace or they simply moved on with their lives. Rough.
