A blast caster is still the funniest possible unit they could have given me but I love her

At last, mod three... It's all coming together...

Illustration of Dorothy Franks from arknights. She is smiling with her eyes closed. She has her arms outstretched. She is running in front of a cream colored wall. Projected over Dorothy and the wall is an image/video of a group of pioneers running in a field.
You’re always with me!

Absolutely though I don't think any of the randos I was playing with realized that as maybe only one was running it lol

TRUE
Two and a half years and I'm still here convinced that the next one is just around the corner lol
I should really stop building up the CN streams like this so I can stop being disappointed when they inevitably don't reveal any upcoming leithanien event lol
But I'll have to look at it more when I can actually play with it so we'll see
True. 3% more damage from her S3 isn't nothing, but even with the scaling of her charged skill and like Eyja attack boost, it'll still be 3% even if the numbers are higher. And given that her numbers aren't anywhere near as high as the current meta, I don't expect that to look esp impressive
Instead I just had to watch them do the exact same set up with Haruka lol
I think this was the best ice breaker games if only because of the fact that I finally didn't have to watch as people took Eyjaberry from my niche, only to set her up on a 60sp cost skill that wouldn't activate until right before she was forcibly redeployed

"Has now been fixed" I mean I GUESS if the event is closed it's not kicking anyone anymore
I actually went back and watched it lol and hmm true. It's interesting that we've gotten pretty much all the characters showcased but not all the story beats
Maybe if I remember by the time I get it, though it's barely noticable. At max level it's just 3.36% more attack with mod X and 3.33% more with mod Y. It's the kind of thing that's completely inconsequential if you're not playing a niche with 11 units and need all the damage you can get

Anyway that was probably a lot lol maybe I should just make a video about this, but lmk if that helps/if there's anything else you need. Nicheknights is really cool and I (clearly) love yapping about it lmao
So coming back to that first point, make sure you have units you'd want to stick with long enough to reach that. It helps that familiarity will make you more fond of them too (I might not have picked up Diamante otherwise and now I love that little weirdo), but a good foundation helps immensely
The other thing is that once you commit to a niche, the viability will improve. As you gain a deeper understanding of your units, you'll be able to push them/the team further, letting you do things you might not have thought possible before
Flexibility is also key; more units in a niche gives you more options (and worse case scenario you can throw bodies at something when necessary). Wide/extended ranges are huge for letting the strengths of those units cover for the weaknesses of others
For example, pre-zwillingsturme leithaniens had six units, only one of which was a ground op (who cost 24 DP). That meant there were a number of regular stages that I just couldn't do, but at the same time, I could do some boss stages because I had Eben, who was uniquely well suited to that
As for viability, I tend to think in terms of what can your units do and how can they deal with various threats. Bosses, fast starts, incoming damage, big rushes, threatening elites, multi-lane setups, etc. That can greatly inform what they can do and what sort of maps you target with them
I will say that enjoying the units in a niche is pretty important, which sounds obvious I guess, but clearing a stage can come down to just trying things out a ton, not to mention the repetition of just using them in most stages
Well I could suggest a niche that includes at least Diamante and Lessing... /jk
