Please no the carousel is really bad for visibility! This site operates on a vertical format with tap to enlarge images which is perfect.
The carousel hides images at a glance, so people will miss images while scrolling.
Instead to improve that, make the crops adjustable, make the carousel optional.

I'm kinda old-school, but I never once stopped uploading to art sites just because of how temporary art posts are when uploaded to social media. Once it falls off a timeline/algorithm it's easily forgotten, whereas on art sites you can easily find it again via keywords and such.
