i've channeled a lot of thought about what it meant to be filipino AND american for the longest time but putting them in OC form has helped me understand a lot about myself. now that we're sorta center stage in xiv's eyes, i definitely feel that pinoy pride HAHA

i've said it before but they represent different experiences of being fil am: sitan is the first gen immigrant, bulan is the second gen/diaspora, and sidapa is disconnected/cut off from his culture as well as being mixed.

unfortunately i made his astral AU self more interesting in terms of his ending (he dies) but i do love the idea that he conquers his vengeance demons in both universes

bulan was purely an NPC for sitan and seiji but he's grown so much from being a literary device to get sitan over to eorzea and be safe

im making two voidsent that like to feast on strong wills and makes the person forget what they're fighting for and i think it'll be fun 🙂‍↕️

this is by means a complaint its so fun seeing characters spring forth from my writing but now i must give them a visual form

filling in some plot stuff for bulan makes me excited to write someone so off the rails but there is one downside: i must make more characters 🫩
