look at the files yourself, there are literally unique sprites for the recolored version of the scene
check your facts yourself before correcting someone please

the kris and noelle sprites are still separate and they're colored like that themselves
there isn't any complicated coding with the color palette it's just a manual recolor
anything you see can easily be changed and was an intentional decision
